Not new, but not old.

These were my first pokemon that I hadn't drawn before spriting. I had drawn Bassound before, but I never finished the drawing before spriting.

PADILY-grass/water-STORM DRAIN/WATER ABSORB

Its name is a simply mishmash of lily pad.

"Its only found in areas where there is an abundance of water sunlight. Early in the morning when the sun rises it stretches on it's tail to get closer to the warmth of the morning sun."

i have two question about this. first on the little one, is that a tail? it looks like a root like appendage but is it like aipom's tail, a tail and it's used to stand on?

my second question is, the "roots" on the evolved form, are those legs? does it walk on them?

Yes, I picture it being like Aipom's tail. And for the most part it tends to stand on it's 'tail' while not moving around. With the evo, I picture it actually floating most of the time. Either in water, or on air, but I haven't decided it it floats or not. But I don't, however, picture it walking on them.
